His Eternal Plan
to bring many sons to glory
...From Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the firstborn of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And has made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Revelation 1
The king shall joy in your strength, O LORD; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. You went before him with the blessings of goodness: you set a crown of pure gold on his head.
He asked life of you, and you gave it to him, length of days for ever and ever. His glory is great in your salvation: honor and majesty you have laid on him. For You have made him most blessed for ever: You made him exceedingly glad with Your Presence. For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he will not be moved.
Your hand will find out all Your enemies: You right hand will find out those that hate You. Fire shall devour them. ... they intended evil against You: Be exalted, LORD, in Your own strength. We will sing and praise your power. Psalm 21
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door (to his heart), I will come in to him, and will feast with him, and he with me.
To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:20, 21
Blessed
Blessed are you, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty:
for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head above all.
Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all;
in Your hand is power and might;
in Your hand it is to make great, and to give strength to all.

Created for His glory
..the LORD that created you and He that formed you, says, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you:
when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned
For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One... your Savior
you were precious in my sight, and honorable, and I have loved you
Fear not: for I am with you
I have created you for my glory, I have formed you; yes, I have made you
Know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior
I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator your King.
who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters
The beast of the field honor me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen
This people have I formed for myself
I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember your sins Isaiah 43
He Does Wonderful Things
O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name
for You have done wonderful things; your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth
For You have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall
in this mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines well refined
he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations
He will swallow up death in victory
and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces
this is our God; we have waited for him, and He will save us:
we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest Isaiah 25
The God of Glory
Give to the LORD glory and strength
Give to the LORD the glory due His name
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters
The God of glory thunders
The LORD is upon many waters
The voice of the LORD is powerful
The voice of the LORD is full of majesty
In his temple every one speaks of His glory
The LORD sits upon the flood
Yes, the LORD sits King for ever
The LORD will give strength to his people
The LORD will bless his people with peace Psalm 29
He Shall Appear to your Glory
Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build for me? Where is the place of my rest?
For all these things My hand made, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is humble and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word.
Let the LORD be glorified
He shall appear to your joy
Be delighted with the abundance of her glory
For I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like a flowing stream
I will comfort you; and you shall be comforted
When you see, your heart will rejoice, and your bones will flourish
The hand of the LORD will be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind Isaiah 66
Child of Glory
Unto us a child is born
Unto us a son is given
And the government will be upon his shoulder
And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end
upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even for ever
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this Isaiah 9
O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for You will judge the people righteously, and govern the nations on earth
God will bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him Psalm 67
Remember
Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people
Sing to him
Talk of all his wondrous works
Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually
Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth
He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth
Be mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised
He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens
Glory and honor are in his Presence; strength and joy are in his place

Great is His glory
I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your faithful love and for your truth

Exceeding Glory
The letter of Christ, written by the Spirit of the living God, giving righteousness, exceeds in glory
The law which was fulfilled in Christ is glorious, how much more that which remains, exceeds it in glory
The veil is taken away in Christ
When one turns to the Lord the veil is lifted
And we all, with open face, beholding as in a glass, the glory of the Lord
Are changed into the same image from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord
2 Corinthians 3
Eternal Glory
The god of this world has blinded the minds of those who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
And we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
For all things are for your sake, that the abundant grace might, through the thanksgiving of many, give great honor to the glory of God.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporary; but the things which are not seen are eternal 2 Corinthians 4
Rejoicing in Glory
My heart rejoices in the LORD, my power/honor is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over my enemies; because I rejoice in Your salvation
There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside You: neither is there any rock like our God
Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogance come out of your mouth
For the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed
The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength
The LORD kills, and makes alive: he brings down to the grave, and brings up
The LORD makes poor, and makes rich: he brings low, and lifts up
He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill
to set them among princes
and to make them inherit the throne of glory
for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S
He has set the world upon them
He will guard the feet of his saints
and the wicked shall be silent in darkness
for by strength shall no man prevail
The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces
out of heaven shall he thunder upon them
the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth
and he shall give strength to his king, and exalt the power/honor of his anointed 1 Samuel 2
With exceeding joy
Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the faithful love of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life
Now to Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy
To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen Jude 1
Mystery of Glory
We do not cease to pray for you, that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding
That you might walk worthy of the Lord, all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power to all patience and long suffering with joy
Giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light
Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers
All things were created by him, and for him
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist (are held together)
And he is the head of the body, the church
Who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead
That in all things He might have the preeminence
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself
by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven
And you, that were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has He reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight
To fulfill the word of God, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now is shown to his saints
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory Colossians 1
All shall revere His glory
The LORD saw there was no justice, and it displeased Him
And He saw that there was no man, to intercede and was amazed
So his arm brought salvation to Him; and his righteousness sustained Him.
For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was wrapped with zeal as a cloke
According to their deeds He will repay, fury to his adversaries,
So shall all fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun
When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him
And the Redeemer to them that turn from transgression
As for me, this is my covenant with them, says the LORD;
My spirit that is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor your seed's seed, says the LORD, from now on and for ever Isaiah 59
Take it to heart
If you will not hear, and if you will not lay it to heart, to give glory to my name, says the LORD of hosts, I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings
My covenant was with him of life and peace
and I gave them to him for the fear with which he feared me, and was afraid before my name
The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips
He walked with me in peace and equity, and turned many away from iniquity
For the priest's lips should guard knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth
For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts Malachi 2
Show me your glory
Please show me Your glory, said Moses
And He said, I will make all My goodness pass before you
And He said, You can't see my face: for no man can see Me and live
there is a place by Me, and You shall stand on a rock while My glory passes by, that I will put You in a cleft of the rock, and cover you with my hand while I pass by
And I will take away My hand, and You will see my back, but not my face
And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious
Long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth
Guarding faithful love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin
and will by no means clear the guilty

Glorious Power
...The power of the Lord was present to heal them
And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy
And when He saw their faith, He said to him, Your sins are forgiven you
Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
Is it easier to say, Your sins are forgiven or to say, Rise up and walk?
So that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (he said to the sick of the palsy,) I say, Get up, take your bed, and go home
And immediately he got up before them, and took what he lay on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God
And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with awe, saying, We have seen strange things to day Luke 5
Glory Beyond
Now to him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think
According to the power that works in us
To him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages
World without end Ephesians 3:20, 21
Believe and see Glory
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life
He that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live
And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die.
Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died
Where have you laid him? They said to him, Lord, come and see
Jesus, therefore again groaning in himself came to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it
Jesus said, Take away the stone
by this time he stinks for he has been dead four days
Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you if you would believe you would see the glory of God?
Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid
And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me
And I know that you always hear me, but because of the people who stand by I said it, that they may believe that You sent me
And when he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes

Our glorious sanctuary
A throne of glory on high from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary. Jeremiah 17:12
Defying Glory
They stumbled and fell because they spoke and acted against the Lord, defying His glorious Presence Isaiah 2

My people abandoned their glory for useless idols

His Glory on us
What if God, willing to show His wrath, and to make His power known
Endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction
And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had before prepared unto glory
Even us, whom He has called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles
As He said also in Hosea, I will call them My people, which were not my people
And call her beloved, which was not beloved
And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, You are not my people
There shall they be called the children of the living God.
Affliction produces glory
All things are for your sakes
That the abundant grace might, through the thanksgiving of many, redound to the glory of God
We do not faint
The inward man is renewed day by day
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory

Glory above the heavens
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth
Who has set Your glory above the heavens
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained
What is man, that Your mind is full of him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor
You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands
You have put all things under his feet
All sheep and oxen and the beasts of the field
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! Psalm 8
He makes us a glory
I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me
I will pardon all their iniquities
And they will be to me a name of joy, a praise and glory before all the nations of the earth
The nations will fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I bring them
And will be heard in this place the voice of joy, the voice of joy ... the voice of the bridegroom, and the bride
the voice of those that say, Praise the LORD for He is good
For His faithful love endures for ever Jeremiah 33
We Glorify Him
Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me

His glorious power strengthens us

King of Glory
The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness of it; and those that dwell there
For He founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to idols, nor sworn deceitfully
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Lift up your heads, O leaders; and be lifted up, everlasting doors (common people)
And the King of glory will come in
Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory Psalm 24
Worthy
I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: a voice like a trumpet said to me, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne
And he that sat looked like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like an emerald
Four living beings do not rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come
All surround and give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who lives for ever and ever
Saying, You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for You created all things, and for your pleasure they exist and were created Revelation 4
His glory revered
They fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun

Glory of the Father
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant
and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross
Therefore God has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name
That at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth

He Comes to Judge
Sing to the LORD a new song all the earth
Bless His name; show His salvation from day to day
Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all people
For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised
He is to be feared above all gods

Honor and majesty are before him
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary
Give to the LORD glory and strength

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness

Praise with my glory
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise with my glory
For Your mercy is great above the heavens: and Your truth reaches to the clouds
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens: and Your glory above all the earth
That Your beloved may be delivered save with Your right hand, and answer me.
God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice (as He claims what is His)
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man
Through God we will do valiantly for it is He that will trample our enemies

His Glory covers the heavens
O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years, make known; in wrath remember mercy

Fall of Glory
Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble on the dark mountains

Glorified together with Him
The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God

Glory changed
What can be known of God is shown in them
God has showed it to them
The invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse
When they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful
But became vain (self-centered and empty) in their imaginations
And their foolish heart was darkened
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools
And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, or birds, or four footed beasts or creeping things
They changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever

Refusing Glory
Do you despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long suffering
Not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
But refusing to change your heart, you treasure up to yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God
Who will render to every man according to his deeds
To those who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil

Crowned with glory
What is man, that Your mind is full of him?
You made him a little lower than the angels
You crowned him with glory and honor,

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor
That He by the grace of God would taste death for every man
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory
To make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings

The heavens declare the glory of God
And the firmament shows His handy work
Day unto day speaks, and night unto night shows knowledge
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world
In them He set a tabernacle for the sun
Which is as a bridegroom coming out of His chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race

The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever
The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether
More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold
Sweeter than honey and the honeycomb
Moreover by them is Your servant warned
And in keeping them there is great reward
Cleanse me from secret faults
Keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins
Let them not rule over me
Then I will be upright, and I will be innocent from the great transgression
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my Redeemer

Glorified by just warfare
Prophesy against Gog (Russia) saying, I am against you. I will strike the weapons out of your hand.
You will fall on the mountains of Israel and they will know that I am the LORD
I will not let them pollute my holy name anymore
By this I make my holy name known in the midst of my people
And the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One
They will plunder those that plundered them, and rob those that robbed them says the Lord GOD.
Yes, all the people of the land will bury them
And it will be to them a famous day that I will be glorified, says the Lord GOD
And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see my judgment that I have executed and my hand that I have laid upon them
And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity
I gave them into the hand of their enemies: they all fell by the sword
Then I will turn back their captivity, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel
And will be jealous for My holy name
